I have looked online but almost all of them attach to the wall. I want to use 2″ think foam, covered in batting, and then fabric.

Would I need to make some legs and cover them in fabric too?

My style is traditional. I want a medium cherry. I like panel beds, not sleigh beds. But most panel beds are boring… need something with a little bit of curve on sides, not just a big box look. I have looked EVERYWHERE on line and just can’t find a bed & bedroom set I like. HELP!! We are willing to spend a decent amount of money for something we are going to love for years.

The new comforter is covered with squares that contain a few shades of blues and tans. I would like to fuse the black furniture and the colors in the comforter together.
Currently walls are light grey and floors are dark hardwood
